From Out of Nowhere

I was waiting and you didn’t come
Packed my suitcase all alone
And then you met me but my heart was hard inside
I didn’t know that you didn’t sleep last night

And so in silence we drove towards the plane
I couldn’t feel you
Your heart was hard, the same
Reaching out to touch your hand

But nothings there

Longing to feel you before I leave this place

Flying away from you, tears are in my eyes
An open heart is now in pain
I close my eyes and I try to see your face
Softness in your eyes and the warmth of your embrace
